Hultafors Group Joins the United Nations Global Compact

This membership not only represents a commitment but also a continuation of Hultafors Group's sustainability journey. Even though the Group has previously been involved indirectly through Investment AB Latour, joining directly as Hultafors Group strengthens their commitment. Altner notes, “The Global Compact’s principles have long been foundational for our policies and actions. Officially being part of this network underscores our ambitions and enhances our accountability to stakeholders.”

Looking ahead, the focus is on establishing a unified sustainability agenda and working towards shared goals. A key part of their current efforts involves setting climate goals aligned with the Science-Based Targets Initiative, a commitment made in September. “We recognize the need to rethink, innovate, and evolve our operations, products, and overall business approach,” adds Martin Knobloch, CEO of Hultafors Group. By joining the Global Compact, Hultafors Group affirms its commitment to being at the forefront of sustainable development.
